Huge success despite disappointing finish

Posted by Keith Redfearn on 1 September 2017

Despite suffering only their second defeat in 20 matches Warminster have convincingly won their Division by over 50 points and are promoted as Division Champions for this season.

In a hard fought match at Broughton Gifford each team won 2 rinks apiece but the shot difference favoured BG so they took the additional points and the victory.

Despite this result it has been a hugely successful season for the Team and there is no doubt that we would have settled for much les at the start of the league - however our aspirations and sights have been raised and we can look forward to a more competitive season nexct year.

Thanks to all who have supported this Team thropughout the season and congratulations on your success.
